DIARY OF A PANDEMIC
DEVELOPMENTS.
For my first development, I edited some text which resonates with the image. I also made the text the same colour as the fruit in the background. However, I don't like this type of editing because it doesn't show my potential and therefore, I will try a different types of editing until i find one that suits me.
This edit is successful, in my opinion, because the time is central in the image and there is a peaceful atmosphere, even though the image is quite cluttered.
For this edit, I purposely set the time to one minute to the time of work finishing so it shows how the subject sits all day in the same place and the fact that there is no excitement to finish work because it will be the same tomorrow. However, this is one of my favourite images in the shoot and I think it could be edited more creatively.
I really like this edit because it looks like it is multiple pictures of the same pose, like it repeats everyday. I also like the different shadows and sizes of the image.
PART 2:
DEVELOPMENTS.
This edit is heavily inspired by Jan Dibbets- the artist I researched. I took a picture of the same window for 7 hours and captured the midday sun and a sunset.
I think this is my best edit because it tells the message that everyday at the moment is the same and the days are blurring together.
